It’s been a nutty couple of weeks with a trip to New England, Mikey and Sheila visiting, a Galactic concert at the Fillmore, a big ass snail, cool 60s vintage econoline van trucks, giant pretzels at the monks kettle, and now a trip to a certain forbidden island in the carribean (with some mega legroom I might add)

Stormy Days
3 03 2010My visit to the Cape was a stormy one… here are some quick shots from the Fish Pier, looking over at what remains of North Beach and the camp, plus the road to Scatteree was completely flooded from Pleasant Bay, but that didn’t stop some fool who will have a very rusty car in a few years…

Brunch + Avatar + Sushi =
21 02 2010What a perfect day: 3 dates!!! P and I had brunch in Cole valley, then home for a rainy afternoon with some serious couch time, then to The Metreon for Avatar 3D IMAX (amazing), and then a wonderful sushi dinner at Kiji at 22nd & Guererro (we even got the back corner booth in the back dining room to ourselves)

Chainsaw
20 02 2010We were woken this morning by the sound of fast working chainsaws… Shortly thereafter, looking out the bedroom window, we were a bit suprised to see all of the big pine trees that separated our back yard from our neighbor’s being removed! Granted, they were likely a hazard to some of the other houses, but our private back yard is now rather public. It did increase the views however. Bummer.
